Great Lengths were once again the very proud headline sponsors of Tribu-te Show; one of the most anticipated prestigious shows in the hairdressing industry calendar, which took place in London on Sunday 15 October. With 925 guests in attendance, consisting of the cream of the crop in Hairdressing, this year’s show was a sell-out and deemed one of the best to date.

 

Host Nicky Pope, UK Publisher for Tribu-te, welcomed the assembled crowd and thanked the sponsors for their valuable support in bringing the show to life. “‘I’m delighted this year to confirm our ongoing, lifelong partnership with Great Lengths, who have been with us from the outset – a brand with integrity, longevity and artistic vision they prove time and again the perfect fit with us, and we love them! Bless you for your vision and trust in us. Showcasing the latest brand video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPZNnUDYDtM] from the newly launched 100% You Great Lengths campaign on the big screen, for the first time ever, the Great Lengths team, consisting of members from the UK Head Office and certified stylists and salon owners from the wider Great Lengths family, relished the opportunity to show what Great Lengths is all about and the passion of the brand behind the scenes.

 

Opening the show, Trevor Sorbie Art Director, Tom Connell impressed with his technical prowess, presenting two on trend cuts; demonstrated a sleek bold fringe cut as well as razor-cutting on a long textured fringe.

Spanish team X-Presion presented their signature and ‘pixelation’ technique which has taken the industry by storm.

Skyler McDonald took on the role of inventor and scientist when it was her turn to take the stage as she played with colour in her ‘onstage laboratory’, marbling hair alongside other colourful creations.

Kevin Murphy, renowned international session stylist revealed several of his current favourite hair techniques, including sewing thread into the hair to create texture and shape amongst other top tips and industry tricks.

To close, Hooker & Young took to the stage producing three exquisite looks, transforming their models in a matter of minutes.
